Last updated 21 September 2026. This notice explains how ScaleCaller handles personal data for the product at scalecaller.pro, including under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Who we are
ScaleCaller is the data fiduciary for account data you give us and for data we process to run the calling desk. Write to admin@scalecaller.pro for access, correction, deletion, grievance, or listing opt-out requests.
2. What we collect
- Account: name, agency name, email, password (hashed by our auth provider), and the phone number you save for hosted calling.
- Prospects: public Google Places fields you unlock (name, address, listing phone, website, rating) plus your notes, statuses, scripts, and callback times.
- Calls: Exotel call metadata, recordings when you use hosted calling, transcripts, summaries, and suggested next actions.
- Billing: plan and payment status via Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers.
- Product use: login sessions, basic device/browser data, and events needed to run search, unlocks, and call minutes.
3. Why we use it
We process this data to create your workspace, show the lead list, connect hosted calls, transcribe recordings onto the card, bill subscriptions, prevent abuse, and answer support. We do not sell your prospect list. We do not use call audio to train a public AI voice agent.
4. Processors and where data lives
Primary storage is a Supabase project in Mumbai (Postgres, Auth, and private recording storage). Other processors we use to run the product:
- Google — Places API for public listing search
- Exotel — click-to-connect calling and recordings
- Sarvam — Saaras speech-to-text after hangup (AssemblyAI as fallback)
- Razorpay — subscription billing and payment webhooks
Some of those vendors may process data outside India. We use them only to provide the features you turn on. Hosted calling and transcription do not run until you use those features on an eligible plan.
5. Retention
Account and CRM data stay until you delete the lead, close the workspace, or we close the account. Call audio is kept for a limited window (about 30–90 days) then deleted from storage; transcript text and summaries may stay longer because they are the CRM record — until you delete the lead or ask us to erase the workspace. Billing records may be kept as required for tax and dispute handling.
6. Your rights (DPDP)
You may request access, correction, or erasure of personal data we hold, withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, and raise a grievance. A shop listed in your desk may ask us to note an opt-out; we will also tell you if the request is about a lead in your workspace. Email admin@scalecaller.pro. We will respond within the timelines the DPDP Act requires, or sooner if we can.
7. Cookies and sessions
We use cookies and similar storage for sign-in and to keep you logged in. We do not run a third-party advertising pixel on the product for selling ads.
8. Children
ScaleCaller is a B2B tool for agency founders. It is not directed at children. Do not create an account for anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We will update this policy when the product or the law changes. The date at the top is the latest version. Material changes will be emailed to the address on your account when we can.
10. Contact
Privacy, DPDP, and listing opt-outs: admin@scalecaller.pro. Also see Terms of Use, Refund Policy, and Contact Us.
